Managing Multiple Clients Workgroup for Virtual Assistants
Is your virtual assistant business growing quickly?
Do you find yourself struggling to stay on top of moving priorities and tight deadlines?
Are you finding it difficult to manage multiple clients?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, you’re not alone. With the growth of the industry, Virtual Assistants are finding it very difficult (and stressful) to effectively manage the demands and priorities of multiple clients.
Here’s the typical scenario. A Virtual Assistant starts her business and accepts all clients who express interest in working with her. Many clients can only afford a few hours a month, therefore requiring the Virtual Assistant to seeking and adding additional clients to the business - it’s the only way to make more money.
Over time, as the Virtual Assistant builds relationships with her clients, many the clients recognize the value the Virtual Assistant offers and require more support. This means more money but also requires more hours for the Virtual Assistant.
Within no time, the Virtual Assistant is working night and day, trying to keep up with priorities, making errors that should not have been made and eventually losing the trust and respect of her clients. Not to mention the lack of sleep, second guessing if it’s really worth it and and eventual burnout.
Can you relate? Have you experienced this? I have. It was one of the most difficult stages I faced in my business… With the support of my colleagues, I was forced to take a close look at my business, figure out what I really wanted out of it, decide on my options and then take action. It wasn’t easy .. but it was worth it.
