Bridge Lines

When scheduling teleclasses, teleforums, conference calls etc., it’s important to book a bridge line that suits your needs.

The bridge line (known as conference call line to non-online folk!) is a way of connecting more than 2 people on one specific line. If you haven’t already experienced the “bridge line reservation” … I don’t think you’ll have long to wait before someone asks you to book one for them.

There are a variety of options out there for bridge lines. Some are free, some have annual fees, some offer recording services, some are more reputable than others. I’ve used www.freeconference.com for years now and have had very little problems with them.

Below are some other bridge line resources that you can consider:

FREE Bridgelines:

1. FreeAudioConferencing.com
You get your own dedicated bridgeline for up to 100 people, free. This bridge offers the moderator mute function.

2. BridgeRentals.com
Guaranteed bridgelines at $8-20/hour for groups of up to 150 people.

3. EasyConference.com
Free bridge line for up to 30 people. Larger bridgelines are available for a fee.

4. FreeConference.com
This is the free service I am most familiar with. Bridgeline accommodates up to 99 people. Offers recording and transcription for a fee. Offers moderator mute function also. I suggest creating an account for yourself/your client (for free) to get the same number.

5. MrConference.com
Free bridgelines for up to 30 people. Larger bridgelines are available for a fee. Note that free lines are not always guaranteed.

PAID Bridgelines

1. BridgeRentals.com
Bridge line for a group of 35-100. $15 - $20/hour. Participants are not required to use a PIN to join the call.

2. Rentabridge.com
$10-$15/hour for groups of up to 60 – bridge line guaranteed.

3. Telebridge.com
Guaranteed line for groups up to 200. $10 - $25/hour.

4. Teleconferenceline.com
Guaranteed for groups of up to 100. $20 - $40/hour.

5. Telephonebridgeservices.com
Guaranteed for groups of up to 500! $20 - $75/hour

LONG TERM Bridgelines

1. CoachU
You can rent a non-PIN bridgline from CoachU. These are leasing on a yearly basis only, last I checked the price was $1650 for the year. Email them at bridge@coachu.com for information.

2. CoachingBridgelines.com
You can rent bridgelines monthy for 35 to 150 people, pricing varies depending on the size of the line.
